Stubbornly Agreeable

In need of a brand identity refresh, Dilworth Coffee called on The Republik earlier this year to give them a new look and a closer relationship with their ever-changing customer base, according to Robert Shaw West, CEO of the agency.

That accomplished, Dilworth commissioned The Republik to create a series of eye-catching Point of Sale material including posters, counter cards and social ads to reinforce the idea that Dilworth is the good coffee you need to get, according to West.

The results, to be placed in 100 + locations where Dilworth Coffee is sold include Daylight Savings ‘Free Coffee’ and hot Summer Day promotions, a series of often stolen posters showing skiers, surfers and furniture movers featured with Dilworth Coffee Cups and the message ‘Stubbornly Agreeable’.

Don and Aylene Keen founded Dilworth Coffee in 1989. In 2010, Stockton Graham & Co. purchased wholesale roasting and distribution assets, and in 2016, the Dilworth Coffee trademark. Dilworth Coffee now has four locations: Fifth Third Center and South Park Mall in Charlotte, Plantation Market in Matthews and Coddle Creek in Concord. Stockton Graham & Co. licenses the brand, so each location is independently owned.
