The far-reaching effects of COVID-19 took us all by surprise – threatening lives, jobs and businesses. Yet rather than lament the loss of visitors that drive the hospitality industry, the Fayetteville North Carolina Convention & Visitors’ Bureau chose a different path. Turning the spotlight on the special kind of people who call Fayetteville home. The goal was simply to help a beleaguered community reflect on their collective dedication to one another. With every share, comment and article the video became a source of pride for the citizens and a powerful lesson for the rest of us.
